Applicable products

HUAWEI Mate 10 lite,    HUAWEI P20,    HUAWEI nova 2 Plus,    HUAWEI nova 2i,    P20 Pro,    Porsche Design Huawei Mate RS

Cause:
Knuckle gestures are disabled, you did not use the correct gesture, or the screen protector is too thick.

Solution:
Perform the following steps to troubleshoot:

1. If knuckle gestures are disabled, go to Settings > Smart assistance > Motion control and enable the desired gestures.

2.   When using knuckle gestures, knock the screen firmly (similar to knocking on a door) and drag your knuckle across the screen until a blue line appears. Connect the line to perform the corresponding command.

3.   If you are using a thick screen protective film, knock the screen firmly with your knuckles, or remove the protective film before using knuckle gestures.

4.   If the issue persists, update your system to the latest version and try again.
